We saw many birds!! Snacks of priganice and a dry cow's milk cheese were set onboard as well as some "brandy".
Every country has their version of a fried dough snack. Priganice reminded me of lokamade in Greece except these weren't coated in honey and were a bit chewier. The cheese was similar to a milder feta. The "brandy" was like grappa. In fact our tour guide confirmed it was made the same way as grappa, using stems and leaves of the grapes.
Our boat made the round trip and then it was time for some lunch. We had a delicious tomato based fish soup with fresh bread. Then for the main we had grilled trout which had been freshly caught from the lake.
Dessert was an apple coffee cake. Great lunch!!
One last view of Bar before we sail away in about thirty minutes.
Trying a couple of snacks at the Promenade Grill on Deck 9. One side has tacos, burritos, burgers and hot dogs. The other has pizza. No crowds like there is on Deck 17 around the pool.
Seafood taco with mussels, calamari and scallops.
Pretty tasty especially with the vinegary salsa. Also tried a piece of pepperoni pizza. This is a focaccia adjacent crust. Decent tomato sauce, spicy discs of pepperoni and flavorful cheese.
We'll be in Corfu tomorrow where we have a site seeing excursion.
