Yesterday morning, we attended a briefing about the first two ports. Angie worked and I headed up to the pool deck.
Lunch is served!! This is a special Tuscan Wine Lunch at Sabatini's which is the Italian specialty restaurant. Some really great wines. My favorite course and pairing was the Fontina Cheese Souffle.
Angie's favorite was the Parma Ham.
The chef personally plated the pasta course.
The members of Full Tilt were giving the lessons. So much fun!! We learned the difference between a jig and a reel. A jig has a beat of six and a reel has a beat of four. To help you with the beat you use the phrases "Rashers and Sausages" and "Black and Decker" respectively.
After that we headed back to the cabin to get ready for dinner. We wouldn't be eating until 7:30ish but we wanted to get seats on Deck 8 for tonight's show which was a twist on the Princesses usual Captain's Champagne Waterfall. It was called the Captains Effervescence! He introduced all the senior offers and gave a toast.
Then the show began with some aerialists. Some of the ones that were in Art Beat from the other evening. Great show!!
XCite played some crowd favorites afterwards and then we headed to dinner. We both had the Sunchoke soup which was delicious. Angie had the falafel and I had stuffed shells. The shells reminded me of how my mother used to make them. They were very good!! As usual, no dessert which always seems to make.the waiters sad. After dinner we tried to get a seat in O'Malley's to see Full Tilt but it was jam packed! The secret is out!! After two days onboard, we have discovered that you need to show up about 30-45 minutes before an event or activity starts if you want to have a seat.
Today we were docked alongside the pier in Bar Montenegro about 7 AM. Angie used the Ocean Now feature to order some room service. Then we meet for our excursion at 9:10 in one of the lounges. We'll be heading to Skadar Lake for a cruise and local seafood lunch.
