Juneau, Alaska

We got up early to watch the sail into Juneau. It's so gorgeous. We spent most of the day enjoying the scenery.

At 5 pm, it was time to meet up with our small group whale watching excursion. It was twenty people on a boat built for whale watching. 

We had an incredible time on the water. The tour company participates in a couple scientific studies. One was to pull a crab pot and report the findings. 

Then, it was off to whale watch. We got to hangout with a mother and calf. At the end, we even got a glimpse of a breech.
