Our first stop was at a gorgeous beach next to a really small church. It's a popular spot for tour busses as well as people who want to take one of the many boat cruises. We next stopped at a monastery for a brief stop. The number three is very significant in Greece. There are three doors to access the monastery area.
There are three doors used by the priest and nuns. It's a major difference between a church and a monastery in Greece. Our final stop was close to the cruise port where we had a twenty minute walking tour of Corfu Town. Lots of Italian influence with the buildings. And there were no balconies because of a fear that an invader could climb up.
Corfu was attacked many times over the years but never conquered. We had some local Corfu beers. The Red was my favorite. The IPA was just okay. 
We returned to the shop and headed to Alfredo's Pizza for lunch. This is a casual eatery which has a la carte pricing unless you have one of thePrincess Packages. We have the Premier package so are able to eat here as often as we want. Some good starters of a chunky minestrone soup and mozzarella fresca. Could have used a bit more pesto. Then came the pizzas. Angie went with vegetarian and I had the Princess Pizza which has Parma Ham, fresh Parmesan and fresh tomatoes. All very good and filling.
It was then laundry time back at the cabin. The temperature today was 33 so we got quite sweaty!! I had to wait a few minutes for a washer but was finally successful. Great to have that option on Princess. Now we have all clean clothes again.
Angie booked a massage at the spa for 5 PM so I got a table at O'Malley's where the piano player will start at 6:15. Haven't seen him yet. I expect Angie will join me when she's done with her massage. Then maybe a snack here before we head to the Captain's Circle loyalty party with the senior officers. Will be a lighter dinner tonight.
