12/22/22 - 12/28/22 Christmas in Indy

We headed back to Westfield, Indiana for the holidays. A huge winter storm came through and cancelled a lot of activities. Luckily, our flight was on time and my sister was able to pick us up at the airport.

We had a fun few days playing Uno and SkipBo tournaments. Trying out the new Secret Vault and Travel monopoly.

We were able to have Christmas lunch at my parents' house.

We went to church on Christmas Eve and we got to have a our Mario Kart and Mario Party games with the kids afterwards.

We went to an Escape Room for Glenn's birthday and the brewery Four Day Ray next door. It was a lot of fun.

6.15.18 Sea World and Waldorf Astoria

Thursday night we headed to Orlando to meet up with my sister and her family. They were staying at Vacation Village. We arrived and the kids immediately wanted to recreate the safari ride from Animal Kingdom. "Please keep hands, feet, head inside and babies by you."

Friday, we headed over to Sea World. It was so hot but we had a lot of fun. The penguin exhibit and the Bubble show were highlights.

On Saturday morning, the Paul family headed home and we checked into the Waldorf Astoria. We were upgraded to a suite. Woo hoo! We spent the afternoon by the pool.

Our stay was really to eat dinner at the Bull and Bear steakhouse. It ended up being a very long dinner since our steak that takes 45 minutes to cook was overdone and we sent it back. We were sitting on the same side of a table on a couch so it felt like we were the two old guys in the Muppets commenting on the restaurant. Our waiter was super interesting. He makes his own Pinot Noir and enters it into the competition at the State Fair. He also is a beekeeper and drives his bees all over Florida and up to Tennessee to pollinate crops. Definitely a memorable evening.

5.31.18 Speakeasy and the Indy Zoo

We headed back to Indianapolis to attend a fundraiser my cousin organized. We got a bonus visit to the Indy Zoo. Glenn hurt his back so we rented a scooter. The funniest part of the day was when he tried to race a cheetah.

5.27.16 - 5.30.16 Chloe's 5th birthday

We headed back to Indiana to celebrate Chloe's and Jack's birthdays. Chloe turned 5 and Jack turned 10. It was fun to see the family and celebrate. Saturday, we had our family photo shoot and Chloe's party in the afternoon.

Sunday afternoon, Sara, Travis, Glenn, and I headed to Escape Room. We tried the Hoosier Hysteria challenge and did a great job! We worked well as a team and figured the puzzles. It was so fun! After dinner, we went to Weber Grill for dinner. It was a fun night out.

Monday, I played the laziest game of catch with Chloe. I sat in a lawn chair in the driveway and she threw me the ball. It was fun.

A Labor Day Wedding

Over Labor Day weekend, we headed to Chester, Vermont for Glenn's nephew's wedding. It was gorgeous! We stayed at a cute bed and breakfast called the Chester House Inn.

We had a wonderful time catching up with family. We discovered that the Irish Pub in Chester was delicious and run by an Irishman.

The site of the wedding was gorgeous and the weather was perfect to watch Nick and Devon get hitched.

We had a blast dancing the night away. The next morning, Glenn's brother Scott hosted a jazz brunch. The food was amazing and it was nice to have time to visit with everyone before hitting the road.

Easter 2015

Easter this year coincided with Connor's first birthday. It was a great opportunity to head back to Indiana to celebrate. Glenn and enjoyed a great weekend seeing all the family and really enjoyed watching Chloe search for eggs. What is great is that she narrated what was happening. Conner had a great first birthday. He was so happy to just look out the window with whoever was holding him at the time. Also - my sister got a selfie stick.
