Glenn and I put our Busch Gardens Fun Card and annual pass to work and attended the Busch Gardens Food and Wine Fest. Glenn also got us VIP seats for the Goo Goo Dolls concert because it's one of my favorite bands. I have to say - they are looking a bit rough. Maybe we were too close. We had a great day enjoying all the food. Our favorite dish was pork belly with kimchi slaw.

June 20th - 22nd 2014: Goo Goo Dolls, Mary Poppins and Busch Gardens
We had a fun busy weekend! On Friday night, Glenn got awesome seats at the
concert. We had a blast! All three bands were terrific!! It was so much fun being so close.
Sunday, we had our first official Resort Sunday by the pool.

On Saturday, the Tampa Theater had a Mary Poppins Sing A Long showing. The theater is beautiful. They even have an organ player.
On Saturday night, Busch Gardens had a special event for passholders so we headed over. A lot of the animals were out plus we saw a behind the scenes lecture on how they do the ice show. It was a lot of fun.

2.16.14 Brews, Bands and BBQ
On Sunday the 16th - we used our annual pass to Busch Gardens to check out the Brews, Bands and BBQ Fest. We were really impressed. For $30, you buy a wristband to sample over 100 beers. A few local breweries were highlighted so that was fun.
Then it was time for the band portion of the event: Gin Blossoms and Mark McGrath from Sugar Ray.
