We took the Amtrak bus to Chicago Union Station. Boarding was not great, but the overall experience was pretty good. We watched a movie - Hitch. The people on the bus were very nice. We had people exchanging numbers. We didn't let the bus driver leave the old lady in the green jacket behind. People were giving the lady who said she only had 3 dollars their extra food.
We were about 25 minutes late to Union Station, but we made the 3:30 pm Metra train we planned to take to Marisa's.
We had a great time with the Krawiec family. We went to a sushi restaurant with a drink delivering robot and a sushi conveyor belt. Bob made his famous smoked chicken and smoked brisket. We got to see Lily's soccer practice and played a lot of games: Zingo, Don't Break the Ice, Carnival Game, Quirkle, Trailer Park Wars, Pandemic, and Cribbage.
