July 2021 - Wisconsin Dells Glacier Canyon Lodge

After making sure my Mom was okay, we decided to go ahead with our plans to meet Sara and her family in the Wisconsin Dells. The trip was supposed to be for my Mom's birthday. It was really sad she couldn't be with us, but we knew she would not rest if we stayed.

Marisa was very sweet to take the afternoon off work so we met up for lunch just outside Chicago at the Lucky Monk.

We had a great time enjoying all the water parks the Glacier Canyon Lodge. I got to hang with Conner on the lazy rivers and smaller slides as the others were more adventurous. We rented a cabana one day. It was great to have our own space.

We called my Mom and drove around the Dells visiting the places she worked, lived, and visited during the summer she lived there.  We also had a lunch at a place where a miniature train delivers your food.

The kids really enjoyed calling from one room to the other.

On the drive home, we stopped to see the Flemings, the Hursts and the Seremets. Definitely making the most of our short time in the Midwest.

Back in Indy, Mom and Dad took us to the Mill Tavern and we took the kids swimming. We also played a little mini golf with lots of holes in one.
