We met up with Laurie and Kate at their hair salon and headed to Southbridge, MA for Dillon's wedding. We got into our rooms right away. YAY! We had lunch at a deli across the street and then got gussied up. The wedding was at a beautiful church in the cute downtown. The priest was hilarious eliciting a loud AMEN during the marriage prayer.
We went back to the hotel to meet the bus and off to the gorgeous site of their reception: Zukas Hilltop Barn. It was a beautiful reception with wonderful food and service. It was great seeing everyone. The highlight was Dillon's and Patti's terrific dance.
Sunday, we woke up to a change of plans. Instead of flying to Chicago, we decided to fly to Indy to check on my Mom. She hurt her knee. Kate and Laurie were so gracious and quickly switched things around so they could get us to Rhode Island for a flight to Tampa to connect to Indianapolis. We arrived in Indy around 11:30 pm at night and made it to the house around midnight. Luckily, my mom was much better.
