Sea Day

Today was a sea day as we sail towards Busan South Korea. It will be another country to check off the list. We started with some breakfast in the buffet. They have had a couple of specials in the buffet all cruise. Angie tried the Japanese Pancake a few days ago. Today was my turn to try the Japanese Fried Rice Omelet or better known as Omurice. Some tasty fried rice with a touch of kimchi. Drizzled with a little sweet soy sauce. I also tried a blueberry pancake.

After breakfast Angie went to a TaiChi class.
There were about 100 people attending and it was very fun. There will be another class on the next sea day which is Wednesday. I headed to the Crow's Nest and tried to figure out how to play a board game I saw called Lord$ of Vega$. It seemed part Monopoly, part Pandemic and part Catan. And very complicated. I waited for Angie to meet me to see if we could figure it out. We almost did. One big problem was the game was missing all the money!! Some did our best and played a round. I imagine it could be fun. We also played another game of Farkle and one other game called Code Breakers. This ship has a large choice of good quality games. And most have all the pieces. :-)

After games we had some lunch. We visited the Asian section of the buffet and had the ships interpretation of Pork Tocino. The pork was made into meatballs but still had the great flavor I like in Tocino. It was then time for a rest period in the cabin. We both took a nice nap. About 4:30 we got ready for the evening. We headed to the Gallery Bar and chatted with Jo. He has a Beefeater Blood Orange Gin that we tried in a G&T. Very refreshing!! We also tried to get a seat at the Pinnacle Bar but I was packed. The people know where to find the skilled bartenders!!

We decided to head to dinner. Some good choices. Angie had French Onion soup which was as good as the other night. I had a very delicious Fettuccine with Short Rib Bolognese. For mains we both had the turkey dinner.
It had some very moist white and dark meat. Really excellent!! We also have been ordering a plate of mixed vegetables since they usually don't include a lot of vegetables with the mains. And I also ordered some extra mashed potato and cranberry sauce. I guess they took me very literally. The potatoes filled the plate!!

After dinner we saw the band in Rolling Stone again. They had a set with songs from Otis Redding, Bob Seger and KC and the Sunshine Band. Certainly an eclectic mix of artists. It was then time to head to the cabin. When we got back we had received our priority pass for the immigration process tomorrow. Any guest or crew who wants to get off the ship has to go through this process. We have a private tour at 9AM so are very thankful that we have the priority pass so we can clear immigration faster.
