We had a lazy morning and then headed to Havana Bar for a quick breakfast. Our morning was filled with trivia on my quest to get a Vista trophy for our collection. We lost by one point at general trivia. Mark and Jess joined us for Decades trivia and we won!! We enjoyed Sea Day brunch and some time in the spa.
From Glenn:
This afternoon we went to Lights Camera Interaction. It was a new game show for us and we had a lot of fun. Matt Mitcham was the host. He really knows how to get the audience involved. It is movie based and the audience participates in multiple games with different themes. I was able to play in the first game. No spoilers. I'll just say that it involves dressing up as a character from a movie. (Glenn dressed up as Mrs. Doubtfire - it was hilarious!)
Brewery tour was the best one I have ever been on. Colin was so knowledge and informative. He is really breaking news ground since he is literally the first brew master on a ship brewing American craft ale. So in many ways setting the standards for how this will move forward. And perhaps more importantly the beer is really good. The Hoppin' IPA was my favorite. Surprised how balanced it was. We had the last tour of the day so we were able to ask a lot of questions. If you are into craft beer or just want an interesting time book this event.
We went to Studio VIP tonight before dinner. I had no expectations for this one. It was quite good. It is a 70's disco era show. There is audience participation where you volunteer in advance of the show (645 for the 730 show).
It was elegant night last night and yes - they had lobster. I didn't order but three of our group did and said it was excellent. I had the prime rib which was pretty good. At least I was able to get it rare which I have had trouble with in the past. Where day 1 service was slow and we weren't done until 10:15 it was the opposite last night. We were done with dinner by 9:45.
Headed to the Havana Bar after dinner to see the band. The band is very good but I will say the band is very loud for the space. It is a small area and it was hard to have any conversation even when we moved outside by the Havana pool. We then decided to check out the acoustic duo in the atrium - Me and My Cousin. They were quite good. Since we had to be up early we didn't stay long. Back to the cabin by 11pm and set outer wakeup call for 645am.
