The staycation continues. The last weekend in February we headed down to Fort Myers to attend the first Red Sox Spring Training game of the season. They played six innings against Boston College. I felt bad for those college kids - though the whole stadium cheered when one of them finally got a hit. It was a gorgeous day for a baseball game. We also met up with Glenn's sister and her roommate Kate and finally got to meet the couple we have been buying tickets from the last two years. It was a great day!
The next day we headed over to the Renaissance Fair near our house. It was beer and BBQ weekend so we tried a few beers and different BBQ joints. We got to do all of our favorite activities: throw knives and watch the joust and human chess match. The big excitement came when Glenn entered the wing eating contest and placed THIRD! Very exciting.
The next weekend we headed over to Disney to meet up with one of my friends from College. We headed to Ecpot. It was great seeing her and getting to meet her two daughters. We had a great time meeting all the characters, seeing Genevieve Gorder from HGTV, and riding a couple rides.
Stay tuned for more on some upcoming International adventures.....
